Taking it slow this month (hopefully not with the race times, though); so here's one down, four to go...

No worry about the race time on this one. Excellent run !

Two more run, while the winds are still friendly... Some pretty nasty crosswinds (from 7'o clock) on the landing, that nearly tipped me over. But who has time during a race to do a proper into-the-wind landing!?

I really like this race. Very straightforward instructions: "Go from A to B.", so nobody can get lost, or wonder about which shortcuts are allowed. It gives you quite a few options on how to approach it - play it safe and low, and take the slightly longer route, or go right to the limit (with something like a 50' margin of error), and save a few seconds. And, it's probably the fairest route so far for the different planes we got. So, here's my #4. Everything went ok, but there sure were a few scary moments when you try to thread your plane through some "vertical needle"...

Finally had some favorable weather, and got my last leg in. Since I wasn't sure how long the weather would stay like that, I did it before I even had my morning coffee!!! I was sure I was gonna forget something crucial, like my landing gear or the flaps or something, but I guess in the end it all worked out after all. Sorry, Teson, I think I now broke the spreadsheet for good...
