Here is my question. The Flight Replicas Super Cub Ultra has a fuelpod in the baggage compartment. In the fuel and payload settings/ "payload" section it is listed as PodFuel18gal. At default the weight value is set to 0. One can put anything in the weight section they want but 18 gals of fuel is 108 pounds. The manual for the plane defines the fuel pod as: If I start the race with 108 pounds in the fuelpod payload section can I add that fuel to the wing tanks between legs if needed and still stay within the rules? Technically its being used as it is supposed to and the aircraft state is not changing as it was planned as fuel all along. Dave

Hi Dave, welcome!

The motivation for the fuel rule is to have a minimum of fuel planning before the race. fuel supply is not guaranteed at the small stripp/offfield we're flying to so we better take it along.
So your solution is perfectly within the spirit of the rules.
Fuel pod, jerrycans, whatever - take them along and top up at a later stop.
Great to have you with us.
