Let's see if, after a month of being grounded, I still know how to fly. Time is still pretty tight after my move, so no big "optimizations" — basically just followed the flightplan that was posted for each leg, and hoped that I would remember the right turns. Looks like, after applying the different altitude bonuses, Teson's and my run will be pretty close — so I guess I can still tell the pedals from the yoke, even after not touching either for over four weeks...

With most of leg 2 being pretty muggy, and hardly any shadows to judge the treetops by, this one was mostly a matter of keeping your fingers crossed, hoping you don't scrape some of the blurry, foggy forest tops. I did survive the trees, but anybody who saw my kamikaze landing probably thought that I wouldn't survive that part... Luckily the 185 is one tough bastard — it can take a beating, and still bring you home safely!

That was a weird crash on leg 3. I didn't even think I was particularly close to anything, and all of a sudden — CRASH... That sort of took my confidence out of FSX's collision handling, so I left a lot wider margin of error on the second try: And boy, was that airport a pain to find, if you're flying fast and low. I nearly missed it, and put in another kamikaze landing...

I'm sure there's a shorter path across that mountain range somewhere, but I just didn't have the time to look for it. So I just had to follow the default flight plan:

That last leg over the water was perhaps a bit boring... ( I promise I won't add legs like that to any future routes again!)

Welcome ! Good job! You do manage to always shave off a few seconds more than I do. Well done. And don't worry. For my part I do like easy sailing from time to time
