Man, that was a tough one... I nearly couldn't get my plane over the trees when taking off, and then I nearly missed my destination (and made some extra loop over a ridge that nearly killed my maximum altitude). I'm not sure if that run was good enough to be competitive, but at least I survived...

Finally had some time to squeeze in some more flights, and this tour sure comes with some unique challenges! The steep drop into Upper Loon Creek definitely brought out the barf bags for my passengers...

Some nice valleys for this leg — made for some enjoyable, smooth flying. ( After I figured out the correct airport to start from! I had so many crashes today with FSX, that somehow my flight save got messed up, and I started at the wrong place on my first try.)

Leg 4 was definitely the most challenging so far. A pretty tight 90º turn (very easy to miss), then ( my fault) I nearly turned in too early for the final approach, and a tiny little airstrip hidden in the woods! There wasn't much runway left, when I finally came to a stop!

Teson really wants us to get lost in these woods, it seems... Another *very* tight, and *very* hidden turn on this leg, and another near miss by me, by nearly taking one turn a valley early. I think this was the first flight in the whole series where I actually had to look out the side window, in order to find the right route!

And a final straight and quick run towards the finish line. The tricky part here (as in many of the other legs, actually) was that it was often very hard to judge the actual height of the ledges you're crossing, as they're all dark green, and the mountains behind it are all dark green, and everything blends together, giving you very few clues as to where one mountain ends and the other starts...

Following the road may have been easy, but not necessarily fast. Or were those instructions meant to be a requirement for this leg? In that case I may have to re-fly it. I thought the "follow the road" advice was just some help on finding the way. But let me know if I should re-do the leg, sticking a bit closer to the road.

Oh no, following the road is in no way a requirement ! It makes finding that pass just a little bit easier . Good and fast flight again
