Per the league bylaws, we need to recruit 9 members to serve on the League's Executive Council, by serving in one of three 3-person committees: - Rules Committee - Aircraft Committee - Course Committee
Details of duties and responsibilities are listed in the League Charter, available on the League Website.
If you would like to volunteer for one of these committees, please reply to this post with the following info:
committee desired: MSFS Version you use: (FS9, FSX, or both) (each committee must have one rep from each simulator version)
Elections will be held by the general membership within a few weeks.

Most of the positions say checking things in fs9 and fsx, does that mean to hold any of these positions you need access to both versions of the sim?
Edit: after reading the above post where it asks for the sim type I am going to assume that it means it is okay to only have access to one of them.

Correct, you only need access to one sim. The committees, as currently written, should be staffed with 3 people. At least one of whom must have FS9, and at least one of whom should have FSX. the third person can have whichever. If all 3 people have FSX, and one guy has a dual load of both sims, then that guy is the "FS9 guy" for that committee.

Then put me down as a candidate wherever you need me.

While I am happy to do what I can but bear in mind I have limited computer skills! I only got into computers because of FS in the first place.
I figured it was just another piece of machinery to be operated and it is to a point. I guess it is all about learning the software which takes time.
I am familiar with FS9 and FSX and the duenna (and not alot else to be honest) which is why I couldn't stay away. That and a love of bush flying!
